Open days of all units of the Belgian Army during the 5th edition of the Defence Days on the Military Air Force Base in Beauvechain/Bevekom. There was so much more to do and see than I could handle (continuous air shows, demos, etc.). This gallery only gives a small impression. The weather was overcast and quite cloudy and windy but dry on the first day (fortunately for the photographers who were present all over -- mostly with Canon EOS cameras and HUGE telelenses). The second day was very windy and rainy... Reportedly there were 85,000 visitors. All my photos are shot with the Nikkor 18-200mm VRII lens as I have no telelenses. Please notice that Original formats are not enabled to protect my images from theft. To further protect my images they are watermarked. Watermarks will not appear on prints or gifts/merchandise you buy!
