Per Total vzw (Belgium) -- Eddy : Under highly difficult circumstances I tried to capture some images of this night show full of flames and fire, brought by a Belgian contribution Eddy by Per Total vzw to the International Street Theatre Festival during the Ghent Festivities (Gentse Feesten). Some images were shot with my speedlight SB-800, others were not because the public did not really like flashlights... Circ PÀnic (Spain) -- La Caravana Pasa : This gallery is about one of the biggest surprising acts during the Ghent Festivities (Gentse Feesten) that came from the Spanish Circ PÁnic. The timing was right (around dusk) and the setting great (Spaanskasteelplein) making for some great images, especially later on the evening. I was there 1 hour before the show began and the square was already filled with people waiting for the show to start! Hundreds of people wanted to view the show that only took place twice during the Ghent Festivities. The show lasted more than 1 hour and it was not comfortable at all sitting on the ground with my dslr and tripod that I could not unfold because of the people around me. Anyway, I did my best to capture the images you can find in this Gallery. After the show Circ PÁnic got a standing ovation from the whole public. Their acrobatic performance was quite spectacular at times. Please notice that Original formats are disabled to protect my images from theft. To further protect my images they are watermarked.
